Entre ellos, la visi\u00f3n ocupa un lugar preponderante pues a trav\u00e9s de ella se adquiere la mayor parte de la informaci\u00f3n sensorial. Gracias a la visi\u00f3n, el ser humano adquiere informaci\u00f3n acerca de la estructura tridimensional del espacio, la cromaticidad de las superficies, la din\u00e1mica de las relaciones espaciales entre los objetos y entre ellos y el individuo, etc. Esta informaci\u00f3n es esencial para realizar con \u00e9xito las tareas que cotidianamente realizamos de forma autom\u00e1tica y sin esfuerzo alguno. Ejemplos de ellas son, seleccionar una fruta madura, caminar pudiendo evitar obst\u00e1culos, tomar una copa de la mesa sin tocar las dem\u00e1s, estimar si somos capaces de saltar un charco de agua, saber cu\u00e1ndo cruzar la calle, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En este contexto, mi principal inter\u00e9s se enfoca en entender c\u00f3mo el cerebro logra transformar la luz que ingresa por los ojos en la espectacular experiencia que vivimos al abrir los ojos y, adem\u00e1s, proveernos de toda la informaci\u00f3n necesaria para interactuar con nuestro medio.
