Guti\u00e9rrez Sergio E.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facet.unt.edu.ar\/iest\/integrantes\/gutierrez-sergio-e\/\">GUTI\u00c9RREZ, Sergio Eduardo<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Periodo de Ejecuci\u00f3n:<\/strong> Inicio 01\/01\/2014 &#8211; Finalizaci\u00f3n 31\/12\/2017<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#GRUPO%20DE INVESTIGACI\u00d3N\">Ver Grupo de investigaci\u00f3n<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Resumen<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indiscutiblemente el material m\u00e1s utilizado en la construcci\u00f3n es el hormig\u00f3n, sus ventajas frente a otros materiales han afianzado su liderazgo desde hace m\u00e1s de 100 a\u00f1os. La exposici\u00f3n de las estructuras de hormig\u00f3n al medio ambiente, al paso del tiempo y a eventuales cargas como por ejemplo cargas din\u00e1micas y s\u00edsmicas producen un deterioro tal en el material que necesitan ser reparadas y\/o reacondicionadas para conservar su capacidad de servicio. Por otro lado, muchas estructuras se ven solicitadas a un cambio de destino, lo que implica una reformulaci\u00f3n en su comportamiento inducida generalmente por incrementos de carga. Esta situaci\u00f3n conduce a la realizaci\u00f3n de refuerzos estructurales que permitan una adaptaci\u00f3n apropiada a su nueva condici\u00f3n de uso. Una alternativa v\u00e1lida para resolver estos problemas planteados resulta ser el hormig\u00f3n reforzado con fibras (HRF). Su utilizaci\u00f3n permite reemplazar el uso de costosos compuestos con fibras de carbono y epoxi. Como ventaja del HRF se puede mencionar que el material base es el hormig\u00f3n, el cual es un material difundido, f\u00e1cil de elaborar, no requiere de herramientas especiales para su colocaci\u00f3n y los trabajos pueden hacerse r\u00e1pida y f\u00e1cilmente. Las fibras son responsables del control de la fisuraci\u00f3n, lo cual implica un incremento en la ductilidad, propiedad requerida especialmente ante solicitaciones s\u00edsmicas. Por otro lado, esta menor fisuraci\u00f3n conduce a una mayor impermeabilidad y consecuentemente mejora su durabilidad. Estas propiedades francas enunciadas han permitido probar la efectividad del HRF en el refuerzo de elementos estructurales encamisados, abriendo camino a un sin n\u00famero de posibilidades de refuerzo en estructuras da\u00f1adas y\/o con modificaci\u00f3n de destino. Adem\u00e1s, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se ha desarrollado la reparaci\u00f3n de pavimentos r\u00edgidos y flexibles mediante un recapado superior de hormig\u00f3n denominado <em>white topping<\/em>. En muchos casos este recapado se realiza con hormig\u00f3n de alta performance como es el caso de HRF, permitiendo una disminuci\u00f3n del espesor del recapado y una sensible mejora en la durabilidad de la reparaci\u00f3n en virtud del control de fisuraci\u00f3n. Continuando la l\u00ednea iniciada por el Proyecto de Investigaci\u00f3n Estudio Te\u00f3rico-Num\u00e9rico-Experimental de HRF, c\u00f3digo 26\/E446. Financiado por el CIUNT (2008-2012) este proyecto tiene por objetivo general estudiar la reparaci\u00f3n y refuerzo de elementos estructurales lineales como vigas y columnas, y planos como pavimentos y losas con HRF.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Undoubtedly, the most widely used material in construction is concrete and its advantages compared to other materials justify its leadership for more than 100 years. The environment conditions, age and eventual loads like dynamic and seismic ones produce natural damage in concrete structures that leads to repairing and\/or rehabilitation in order to mantain their serviciability. On the other side, many concrete structures change their original use which implies different behaviour due to load increase. This situation leads to structural reinforcement to adapt this structure to its new use. An alternative to solve these problems is the fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) which replaces the use of expensive composites with carb?n fibers and epoxi. It can be mentioned as an advantage of FRC that the base material is the same concrete which is a commonly used material, easy to prepare, no special tools are needed and it can be used quickly and easily. The fibers produce a cracking control which increases ductility, a characteristic required before seismic events. On the other side, this cracking reduction means greater impermeability and consequently, more durability. These properties prove the efficiency of FRC in reinforcement of structural sleeve elements which gives many possibilities of reinforcement in damaged structures. Moreover, in the last years the repairing of rigid and flexible pavement and slabs has been done using a top concrete layer called White topping. In many cases this layer is done with high performance concrete like FRC. This reduces the width of the layer and improves the repairing durability due to cracking control. This Project is the continuity of a previous one <em>Estudio Te\u00f3rico-Num\u00e9rico-Experimental de HRF<\/em>, 26\/E449 supported by CIUNT (2008-2012).
