Es un problema de todos, por lo que es necesaria una mayor concientizaci\u00f3n y demanda medio ambiental por parte de la sociedad actual, que invite a plantear el desarrollo de un modelo de consumo m\u00e1s sostenible. Esto implica que se minimicen las actividades extractivas de las materias primas naturales, tan degradantes para el entorno, y a la vez se d? salida a aquellos subproductos que mediante la experiencia y el desarrollo de una acci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica coherente han acreditado ser v\u00e1lidos para determinadas aplicaciones. Es el caso de la inclusi\u00f3n de residuos industriales y agroindustriales como componentes para la elaboraci\u00f3n de materiales de construcci\u00f3n. La actividad industrial en Tucum\u00e1n no escapa a esta realidad. Actualmente la f\u00e1brica de perlita expandida, ubicada en La Banda del r\u00edo Sal\u00ed, genera alrededor de 2100 Kg de residuos por d\u00eda, que deben volver a la mina de origen en Salta, y como resulta evidente ello implica un enorme gasto de combustible, pues el transporte se hace en camiones. Por su parte la industria azucarera con sus 15 ingenios, producen 15.000.000 Tn de az\u00facar por a\u00f1o, de las cuales un 30% es bagazo que se usa como combustible alternativo y es el responsable de generaci\u00f3n de la ceniza de bagazo (CBC). Actualmente la CBC se mezcla con agua y se vierte al r\u00edo Sal\u00ed. Pruebas preliminares mostraron la naturaleza puzol\u00e1nica de ambos residuos y esto motiv\u00f3 el objetivo del presente proyecto que es estudiar la forma de aprovechar esa naturaleza puzol\u00e1nica de los residuos industriales procedente de la fabricaci\u00f3n de material filtrante de perlita expandida y de la ceniza del bagazo de la ca\u00f1a de az\u00facar para lograr su inclusi\u00f3n como materiales de aplicaci\u00f3n en obras de ingenier\u00eda civil con una visi\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica y ambientalmente sostenible. El estudio prev\u00e9 la utilizaci\u00f3n de estos dos residuos, por separado, en la elaboraci\u00f3n de morteros y hormigones y como agente estabilizador de suelos. En este \u00faltimo caso se intentar\u00e1 formar un cemento romano (RPE + cal hidratada) que reemplace el uso de cemento P\u00f3rtland para estabilizar suelos en la construcci\u00f3n de caminos.<\/p>\n<h4>Abstract<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The waste management as one of the most obvious symptoms of the lack of sustainability of Western lifestyles like ours is becoming day by day in the \u201cordeal\u201d of humanity, and it is expected that over the years become more important due to the ever-increasing world population. It is everyone&#8217;s problem, so the need for greater environmental awareness and demand by the society, raise invite the development of a more sustainable consumption pattern. This implies that minimizes the extractive of natural raw materials, as degrading to the environment, while being disposed to those products that through experience and the development of a coherent scientific action have proven to be valid for some applications. This is the case for the inclusion of industrial and agro-industrial residues as components for the manufacture of building materials. Industrial activity in Tucum\u00e1n is no exception to this reality. Currently expanded perlite factory, located in La Banda del Rio Sali, generates about 2100 kg of waste per day, which must be returned to the mine of origin in Salta, and as is evident this involves an enormous expenditure of fuel, as the Transport in trucks. Meanwhile the sugar industry with its 15 mills produce 15 million tons of sugar per year, of which 30% is bagasse which is used as an alternative fuel and is responsible for generating bagasse ash (CBC). Currently the CBC is mixed with water and poured into the river Sali. Preliminary tests showed pozzolanic nature of both waste and this motivated the objective of this project is to study how to leverage the pozzolanic nature of industrial waste from the manufacture of expanded perlite filter material and ash cane bagasse sugar to achieve inclusion and application materials in civil engineering with a technical and environmentally sustainable. The study provides for the use of these two residues, separately, in preparing mortar and concrete and soil stabilization agent.
