The best works will be selected according to originality and presentation criteria by an evaluating committee designated by the organizing committee and the scientific committee<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poster submission deadline: <del>Up to September 14, 2018.<\/del> <del>Up to September 30, 2018.<\/del>\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Up to October 14, 2018<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Only one work for participant will be accepted<\/p>\n<h3>Poster submission<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To participate in the poster competition students should send:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poster abstract including title, authors and filiation<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poster with the style indicated below<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">CV of the poster main author<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This information should be sent to <a href=\"mailto:mecom2018@herrera.unt.edu.ar\">mecom2018@herrera.unt.edu.ar<\/a> with the subject \u201cCONCURSO POSTER MECOM 2018\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Those students that have an abstract accepted to be presented in MECOM 2018 (with or without a complete paper associated) can required that their work is changed of session and included in the poster competition sending an e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:mecom2018@herrrera.unt.edu.ar\">mecom2018@herrrera.unt.edu.ar<\/a> with the subject \u201cCONCURSO POSTER MECOM 2018\u201d. The e-mail should indicate the ID of the work to be included in the poster competition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the deadline for poster submissions is reached, the author will receive a confirmation mail and will have access to the OCS system to follow the poster in the \u201cPoster competition for students\u201d session.<\/p>\n<h3>Exposition<\/h3>\n<p>The student should be registered in the congress and he should personally expose the poster.<\/p>\n<h3>Instructions for poster preparation<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The abstract should follow the format established for the first page of the congress papers (<a href=\"https:\/\/amcaonline.org.ar\/foswiki\/Main\/AMCA\/AmcaStyle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AMCA style<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The paper format can be downloaded here <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facet.unt.edu.ar\/mecom2018\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2018\/06\/Formato_de_poster_MECOM_2018.zip\">POSTER FORMAT<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although the poster format is free (except for the heading that should include title, authors and filiation) it should contain the following items : Introduction (General problem description, assumptions and objectives), Methodology (Materials and methods), Results and Conclusions.<\/p>\n<h3>Evaluation<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The evaluation of the abstract, the poster and the presentation by the student will be in charge of an evaluating committee designed by the organizing committee and the scientific committee.<\/p>\n<h3>Awards<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The evaluating committee will prepare an order of merits and the three best posters will be awarded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Posters competition Description Following the tradition of AMCA Congresses, a competition of posters presented by students of engineering and bachelor degrees will take place during MECOM 2018.
