{"id":65,"date":"2014-08-04T09:14:33","date_gmt":"2014-08-04T12:14:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.facet.unt.edu.ar\/nanoproject\/home\/"},"modified":"2025-03-06T12:44:58","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T15:44:58","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.facet.unt.edu.ar\/nanoproject\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">About us<\/h1>\n<p>NanoProject is a collaborative effort of researchers and students from the Physics Department at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Technology (National University of Tucum\u00e1n &#8211; UNT), Argentina\u2019s National Research Council (CONICET) and the Physics Institute of Northwestern Argentina &#8211; INFINOA (UNT-CONICET) to develop and perform state-of-the-art contributions to the semiconductor nanotechnology field both locally and internationally. The team originated back in 2006 as a result of a collaboration initiative between Solid State Physics Laboratory (LAFISO) and the Dielectric Properties of Matter Laboratory (LPDM, nowadays Nanomaterials and Dielectric Properties of Matter Laboratory LNPD) members. The international framework of this association has been the Inter-American Collaboration in Materials Research (CIAM) project (New Semiconductor Nanostructures for Nanotechnology Applications). This project nucleates local scientists and students with colleagues from the Centre for Emerging Device Technologies (CEDT) at McMaster University, Canada, the Sao Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC) at Sao Paulo University in Brazil, and the Institute for Technological Development of Chemical Industry (INTEC), Santa Fe, Argentina, and is funded by Argentina\u2019s and Brazil\u2019s National Research Councils (CONICET and CNPq) and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
