Daniel Horacio Valdeón se graduó de Ingeniero Químico en la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (UNT) en 2007. Realizó sus estudios de doctorado en PROIMI y obtuvo el título de Doctor en Ingeniería en la Universidad Nacional de Salta (2017). En 2018 recibió su título de Especialista en Ingeniería Bioenergética en la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional – Facultad Regional Tucumán. Desde 2013 hasta la actualidad se desempeña como Jefe de Trabajos Prácticos en las materias “Microbiología General e Industrial” e “Introducción a la Biotecnología” para las carreras de Ingeniería Química e Industrial en la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Tecnología-UNT. A partir de mayo de 2018 es investigador del CEDIA (Centro de investigación y desarrollo de ingeniería ambiental) en la UTN-Facultad Regional Tucumán. Forma parte del Grupo CYKLOS de FACET. Sus líneas de investigación son: biocatálisis aplicada, inmovilización de enzimas, diseño de bioprocesos, tratamiento de vinaza, análisis de ciclo de vida y huellas ambientales.
Daniel Horacio Valdeón graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the National University of Tucumán in 2007. He completed his doctoral studies at PROIMI and obtained a PhD of Engineering degree from the National University of Salta (2017). In 2018 he received his title of Specialist in Bioenergetic Engineering at the National Technological University (UTN-FRT) and from 2013 to the present, he works as Teacher Assistant in the subjects “General and Industrial Microbiology” and “Introduction to Biotechnology” for the Chemical and Industrial Engineering careers at the “Faculty of Exact Sciences and Technology – UNT”.
As of May 2018, he is a researcher at CEDIA (Environmental Engineering Research and Development Center) at the UTN-FRT. He is part of the CYKLOS Group of FACET. His lines of research include but are not limited to; applied biocatalysis, enzyme immobilization, bioprocess design, vinasse treatment, life cycle analysis and environmental footprints.
