Description:

The session of Acoustics and Vibrations is dedicated to the advancement in the state of the art of the study of sound and mechanical waves in gases, liquids and solids. The study of its emission, propagation, reception, modeling, implications and interactions. Both theoretical and experimental works are accepted, in which new discoveries, novel understandings or useful practices are published. The main topics of the session are:

  • Acoustic Engineering and Noise Control.
  • Environmental acoustics.
  • Architectural acoustics.
  • Digital Processing of Sound Signals and Numerical Techniques.
  • Structural Acoustics and Vibrations.
  • Underwater and Bioacoustics Acoustics.
