Description:
The session seeks contributions on recent advances in modeling material behavior across multiple spatial and temporal scales. The focus is on development and application of constitutive theories describing mechanical, physical and coupled responses such as elasto-plasticity, visco-plasticity, hyper-elasticity, thermal conduction, ferroelectricity, etc. Developments based on homogenization methods and molecular dynamics are particularly welcome.
KEYWORDS: constitutive modeling; multiple scales; homogenization; molecular dynamics
